New employees will be classified as either exempt or non-exempt. All Exempt employees, except CPS Exempt employees, record exceptions in the Virtual Time Clock system. Non-exempt employees, in addition to CPS Exempt employees, will clock in and out using the Virtual Time Clock system and will manually add leave time for vacation, sick or personal time taken there.
